Maintenance
This section of the site is dedicated to getting you up to speed when it comes to keeping your bike in tip-top condition with some quality maintenance information. Below are the areas that we indentified as needing your attention in order to prevent any malfunction (that may cause serious personal injury or death - if you're reading a bike service manual)
General Cleaning Advice - It might surprise you (although I'd hope that it wouldn't) that there are some essential dos and don'ts when it comes to cleaning your bike. We've covered most of them here
Wheels, Tyres and Inner-tubes - They are what makes a bike, a bike and riding just wouldn't be the same without them. If you have aproblem with these it is the most obvious thing in the world (usually) and when they break you sure as hell are going to know about it.
Brakes - Next to wheels these are pretty important unless you have lots of conveniently placed uphill sections.
Forks - Dealing with your suspension fork issues and general advice for keeping them smooth and springy.
Gear Mechanisms and Chains - In order to get the highest efficiency your mechs need to be tuned and well maintained. Although each design may have subtle differences the basic principles remain the same.
Frame - This area deals with your frame, headset and pedal upkeep.
